After peaking at\u00a0Rs. 97,600 per sovereign<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0October 17<\/strong>, prices dropped steadily to\u00a0Rs. 90,000 per sovereign<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0November 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Over the past week, gold rates have been unstable. After a slight recovery the day before yesterday, prices rose by\u00a0Rs. 1,440 per sovereign<\/strong>, followed by another increase yesterday. On that day, one gram of\u00a022-carat gold<\/strong>\u00a0was sold for\u00a0Rs. 11,480<\/strong>, and\u00a0one sovereign<\/strong>\u00a0for\u00a0Rs. 91,840<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, prices climbed further\u00a0\u2013 up\u00a0Rs. 220 per gram<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Rs. 1,760 per sovereign<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 reaching\u00a0Rs. 11,700 per gram<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Rs. 93,600 per sovereign<\/strong>. This marked a total two-day rise of\u00a0Rs. 400 per gram<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Rs. 3,200 per sovereign<\/strong>, as investors\u2019 focus returned to gold.<\/p>\n

However, the upward trend was short-lived. Today, gold prices have dropped sharply by Rs. 100 per gram, bringing the rate down to Rs. 11,600 per gram and Rs. 92,800 per sovereign.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, silver prices have\u00a0increased<\/strong>\u00a0by\u00a0Rs. 3 per gram<\/strong>, now selling at\u00a0Rs. 173 per gram<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Rs. 1,73,000 per kilogram<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
